Day 01

Cave Temple Dambulla



Sigiriya - Painting of 6000 Years Old

Sigiriya - Leave Anuradhapuraya. Sigiriya is an Ancient Palace build up on the top of a rock and decorated it’s sites with colorful frescoes. Today it is a UNESCO listed world heritage site and is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning. It is the most visited historic sites in Sri Lanka.

Day 02

Dambulla/ Polonnaruwa

Polonnaruwa - Leave Dambulla and proceed to Polonnaruwa through a thick natural jungle where sometimes you can watch wild elephants and other animals crossing the main road. Polonnaruwa city is the second oldest Kingdom after Anuradhapura. Polonnaruwa today is a showcase of the great ancient Sri Lankan architecture dating back to 12th Century AD , which was interwoven with many Buddhist monasteries and monuments which were built by the King Parakramabahu I. There are many manmade ancient tanks are situated in the Polonnaruwa city which shows the Ancient Irrigation System in Sri Lanka.

Day 03

Batticaloe - Ancient City of East

Leave for Batticloe. On the way watch the Ancient Temple Dimbulagala.

Batticaloa Batticloe is the major city of the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka located bordering to the sea. Sandy beaches many lagoons and fishing industry are main things to watch.

Passikudha To stay the night select the famous Passikudha which is 30 Km away from Batticloe city. Pasikudah is easily accessible from Trincomalee and Batticaloa, both of which cities have star class accommodation.

Passikudha is very popular among tourists because Pasikudah is known to have one of the longest stretches of shallow coastline in the world. In other words, people walk kilometers into the sea because the water is only a few inches deep and the current is relatively weak compared to the rest of Sri Lanka's coasts.

From Passikudha, proceed to Arugambay which is another tourist destination boadering to the Eastern sea towards the south of Sri Lanka. The Beach Arugambay is world famous as the 4th best place in the world for surfing. But very unfortunately it was not known as it was out of reach due to the internal war of Sri Lanka. Now it is open and safe to the whole world.

Beyond surfing there are many things can be enjoyable, Lagoon tour, bird watching, elephant watching, Kumana National Park, Kudumpigala monarchy and many ancient ruins & archaeological sites. After the end of internal conflict, many foreigners started to travel this area.

Arugambay - Best Place to Surfing in the World



Mahiyanganaya - Ancient Temple



Leave Arugambay and proceed through Monaragala which is the capital city of province UVA. And reach Mahiyanganaya.

Watch the ancient temple in Mahiyanagaya and enter in to the up country of Sri Lanka through Badulla and Bandarawela and stay the night in Nuwaraeliaya enjoy a freezing weather after experiencing a hot throughout.


Nuwara Eliya - A Begin Surrounded by Mountains

The city Nuwara Eliya is a basin situated in the middle of Sri Lanka surrounded by a ring of mountains.

This city was a thick jungle in 1885 with many Waterfalls and Streams. It is the main Hill Resort of Sri Lanka and the heart of the tea industry.

The Ancient Emperors of Sri Lanka have not known the economical value, kept Nuwara Eliya jungle undisturbed without doing any constructions as it gives the birth for many water resources.

In 1818 the British Governor Sir Edward Barnes constructed the road and shelters in Nuwara Eliya and he built his holiday home in Nuwara Eliya and named it as Barns Hall. Today this place with 150 rooms is known as Grand Hotel. Where you get the opportunity stay your night.

The houses, Gardens places and names of Nuwara Eliya were planned to be a English village by the British Rulers

This beautiful city was home away from home for the British Colonialist in the 19 Century.


Hakgala flower Garden


Located few kilometers away from Nuwara Eliya city along Badulla road, the second largest flower garden in Sri Lanka.

This garden was founded in 1884 and over 10000 verities of flora planted here and garden is famous for rare species of roses and orchids, specially grown in a very cool climate.


World’s End

Located in Hortain Plains National Park of Nuwara Eliya. It is very steep rock with a drop of 4000ft. The Indian Ocean which is 81 Km away can be seen from the edge of the rock when the weather is clear.

It is one of the most visited Places of Horatin Plains National Park.
