Mist to Sea - This Tour is designed mainly for our guests who are very keen to climb the second highest rock mountain in Sri Lanka where the Buddhist believe the sacred footprint of Lord Buddha is printed on the peak of the mountain. This tour covers Tea Plantation, Waterfalls, and Ancient Temples in Kandy etc.

Day 01

Katunayaka/Rathnapura/hatton/Adam’s Peak

Leave Katunayaka for Rathnapura through Nittambuwa, Urapola and Ruwanwella. Watching mini waterfalls through the Rubber plantations in Sri Lanka.

Adam's Peak - Climb to the Top

Bopath Waterfall

Before reaching Rathnapura, Turn off to Bopath ella from Kuruvita at a distance of 8 KM you can watch famous waterfall in Sri Lanka known as Bopath ella with a height of 98 ft. The appearance of the waterfall is similar to the leaf of BO tree(Fig) which is a historical tree linked with Buddhism.

World Famous Blue Sappire in Rathnapura

Rathnapura is known as The Gem City of Sri Lanka where you find Gem mining, Sellers and Buyers market of Precious Gems. The world famous Blue Sapphires with a high value are available in this market.

1st Night – Ceylon Tea Trails Hotel - Boutique Hotel

Adam’s Peak

After taking some hours rest in the hotel, Guests can decide the climb of Adam’s Peak in the night which is a usual practice of the devotees. Path from the bottom to the top of the mountain is designed with many steps and illuminated properly facilitating for the people to climb in the night and reach the peak in the morning to watch the famous Sunrise. The top of the mountain is very cold covered with thick mist.

Day 02

Reach Kandy Through Nawalapitiya.

Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a UNESCO world heritage site mainly due to the temple. This temple was Built up in the year 1595 which houses the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy.

Botanical Garden

This was established in 1861 and exclusively open for the Kandyan Royalty in early years. Now it is open for the common people. This is the largest and most impressive botanical garden in Sri Lanka where you find rare collection of flowers including the finest Orchid in the world.

Day 03

Sea Bath in Negombo Beach

Leave Kandy and reach Negambo beach in three hours. Passing through many traditional handy craft centers in Sri Lanka.

Refresh with a Sea Bath in Negambo.

3rd Night – Enjoy the night life in Negombo and stay at Jetwing Blue which is a five star hotel
